rājann anugṛhīto 'haḿ

tvayātikaruṇātmanā

mad-aghaḿ pṛṣṭhataḥ kṛtvā

prāṇā yan me 'bhirakṣitāḥ

SYNONYMS

rājanO King; anugṛhītaḥ — very much favored; ahamI (am); tvayā — by you; ati-karuṇa-ātmanā — because of your being extremely merciful; mat-agham — my offenses; pṛṣṭhataḥto the back; kṛtvā — doing so; prāṇāḥ — life; yat — that; me — my; abhirakṣitāḥ — saved.

TRANSLATION

O King, overlooking my offenses, you have saved my life. Thus I am very much obliged to you because you are so merciful.
