śrī-śuka uvāca

tasyāḿ vidarbho 'janayat

putrau nāmnā kuśa-krathau

tṛtīyaḿ romapādaḿ ca

vidarbha-kula-nandanam

SYNONYMS

śrī-śukaḥ uvācaŚrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; tasyāmin that girl; vidarbhaḥ — the son born of Śaibyā named Vidarbha; ajanayat — gave birth; putrauto two sons; nāmnā — by the name; kuśa-krathauKuśa and Kratha; tṛtīyam — and a third son; romapādam caRomapāda also; vidarbha-kula-nandanam — the favorite in the dynasty of Vidarbha.

TRANSLATION

Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: By the womb of the girl brought by his father, Vidarbha begot three sons, named Kuśa, Kratha and Romapāda. Romapāda was the favorite in the dynasty of Vidarbha.
