yasmin praviṣṭe 'sura-vadhūnāḿ prāyaḥ puḿsavanāni bhayād eva sravanti patanti ca
SYNONYMS
yasmin — where; praviṣṭe — when entered; asura-vadhūnām — of the wives of those demons; prāyaḥ — almost always; puḿsavanāni — fetuses; bhayāt — because of fear; eva — certainly; sravanti — slip out; patanti — fall down; ca — and.
TRANSLATION
When the Sudarśana disc enters those provinces, the pregnant wives of the demons all have miscarriages due to fear of its effulgence.
