śrī-śuka uvāca

kimpuruṣe varṣe bhagavantam ādi-puruṣaḿ lakṣmaṇāgrajaḿ sītābhirāmaḿ rāmaḿ tac-caraṇa-sannikarṣābhirataḥ parama-bhāgavato hanumān saha kimpuruṣair avirata-bhaktir upāste

SYNONYMS

śrī-śukaḥ uvācaŚrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued to speak; kimpuruṣe varṣe — the tract of land known as Kimpuruṣa; bhagavantam — the Supreme Personality of Godhead; ādi-puruṣam — the original cause of all causes; lakṣmaṇa-agra-jam — the elder brother of Lakṣmaṇa; sītā-abhirāmam — who is very pleasing to mother Sītā, or who is the husband of Sītādevī; rāmam — Lord Rāmacandra; tat-caraṇa-sannikarṣa-abhirataḥ — one always engaged in service at the lotus feet of Lord Rāmacandra; parama-bhāgavataḥ — the great devotee celebrated throughout the universe; hanumān — His Grace Hanumānjī; saha — with; kimpuruṣaiḥ — the inhabitants of the tract of land known as Kimpuruṣa; avirata — continuous; bhaktiḥ — who possesses devotional service; upāste — worships.

TRANSLATION

Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: My dear King, in Kimpuruṣa-varṣa the great devotee Hanumān is always engaged with the inhabitants of that land in devotional service to Lord Rāmacandra, the elder brother of Lakṣmaṇa and dear husband of Sītādevī.
