etā bhagavato viṣṇor

ādityasya vibhūtayaḥ

smaratāḿ sandhyayor nṝṇāḿ

haranty aḿho dine dine

SYNONYMS

etāḥ — these; bhagavataḥ — of the Personality of Godhead; viṣṇoḥ — Lord Viṣṇu; ādityasya — of the sun-god; vibhūtayaḥ — the opulences; smaratām — for those who remember; sandhyayoḥ — at the junctures of the day; nṝṇām — for such men; haranti — they take away; aḿhaḥ — sinful reactions; dine dine — day after day.

TRANSLATION

All these personalities are the opulent expansions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Viṣṇu, in the form of the sun-god. These deities take away all the sinful reactions of those who remember them each day at dawn and sunset.
