tad-ambhasā mahā-bhāga

ātmānaḿ sa-gṛhānvayam

snāpayāḿ cakra uddharṣo

labdha-sarva-manorathaḥ

SYNONYMS

tat — with that; ambhasā — water; mahā-bhāgaḥ — very pious; ātmānam — himself; sa — along with; gṛha — his house; anvayam — and his family; snāpayām cakrehe bathed; uddharṣaḥ — overjoyed; labdha — having attained; sarva — all; manaḥ-rathaḥ — desires.

TRANSLATION

With the wash water, the virtuous Śrutadeva copiously sprinkled himself, his house and his family. Overjoyed, he felt that all his desires had now been fulfilled.
