śuni' harṣe kahe prabhu — "kahile niścaya

yāńhā haite kṛṣṇa-bhakti sei guru haya"

SYNONYMS

śuni' — hearing; harṣein great jubilation; kahe prabhuŚrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu said; kahile niścaya — you have spoken correctly; yāńhā haite — from whom; kṛṣṇa-bhakti — devotion to Kṛṣṇa; sei — that person; guru haya — is the spiritual master.

TRANSLATION

Hearing Mukunda dāsa give this proper decision, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu confirmed it, saying, "Yes, it is correct. One who awakens devotion to Kṛṣṇa is certainly the spiritual master."
