rātre uṭhi' ekelā calilā palāñā

dūra haite pitā tāńre ānila dhariyā

SYNONYMS

rātre — at night; uṭhi' — getting up; ekelā — alone; calilā — left; palāñā — running away; dūra haite — from a distant place; pitā — his father; tāńre — him; ānila — brought back; dhariyā — catching.

TRANSLATION

He got up alone one night and left, but his father caught him in a distant place and brought him back.
