ihāre nāriluń kṛṣṇa-nāma kahāite!"
śuniyā svarūpa-gosāñi lāgilā kahite
SYNONYMS
ihāre — this boy; nāriluń — I could not; kṛṣṇa-nāma — the holy name of Kṛṣṇa; kahāite — cause to speak; śuniyā — hearing; svarūpa-gosāñi — Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosāñi; lāgilā — began; kahite — to say.
TRANSLATION
"But I could not induce this boy to chant the holy name of Kṛṣṇa." Hearing this, Svarūpa Dāmodara Gosvāmī began to speak.
